WRONG!!
As excited as i am.. and was.. i REALLY just dont feel completely comfortable with everything that happened....let me quickly tell you about everything that happened Thursday..
me and my friend ashley go in to the agency.. the place was beautiful lol i aint gone lie.. when u walked in it made u feel really at home.. and like u was ready 2 b a star.. n e way.. i sit down and interview with laura.. she is a EX model.. Actress.. we talk for HOURS she is just trying to figure out my back ground.. why i want 2 do this.. blah blah.. she looks over my portfolio and is completely blown away..
she tells me how she loves my versatility.. how i look completely different in every picture.. WHICH IS GOOD.. and how i am a natural in front of the cam.... and i must say.. lol i do take some killer pics!! well.. she calls in another lady.. and the other lady goes talks to me.. and she goes thru my port.. and she as well is blown away by my pics.. they leave and they talk.. then come back and tell me 2 do a cold reading.. thats when they give me a script.. and i read it rite off rite there.. no tyme 2 practice! well.. i killed that as well.. they were sold.. they said it was the best thing they seen since white rice.. and it was just natural for me.. once again.. i thought they was just sayin that.. but ma friend i was wit said that i really did kill it..
ok so its clear i have natural talent.. WELL the only issue.. is that i have NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL.. none with acting.. none with modeling.. and that was there major concern. SOO they tell me that they need 2 talk 2 the director.. and the CEO.. so they leave... they come back.. they ask me all these questions...
they said.. we can either say one of 2 things... come back in six months.. or we want you to sign with us.. but we have 2 ask you something first.. they said.. it seams like u dont know if u want 2 model.. or act.. they asked me a couple of questions.. they said.. would i rather perform in theater or on a tv series.. and i said tv series.. they said would i rather b on a cover of a mag. or in a movie.. and i said cover of a mag.. they said would i rather walk the runway or be in a movie.. and i said be in a movie.. they also asked would i rather perform at on Broadway or be in a commercial..and i said commercial..
so they said that my answers meant that i wanted 2 model.. becuz yes modeling also means being in commercials.. and that is my goal for 2010..they also basically said that i just looked like the model type.. and that i had the raw talent that was neaded 2 b a model.. and all that stuff.. so they stared me down.. and waited for my answer.. and i said model.. and they said ok.. left out again 2 go talk.. then they came back in and said.. well we are looking for new faces.. and normally we just sign you and get you working.. but since u have no prior experience there is some classes that you will have to take.. modeling classes.. and she went thru the list of all the classes.. then she said.. and these classes are not free.. they are gonna cost 1,300.. so i thought to myself that that isnt bad at all.. they said when everything is completed i will be a certified model.. they said the only reason i had to take the classes is becuz i didnt have experience and they didnt just want to throw me out to auditions lookin like a fool.. so they would have to mold me first so i can know what to expect. oookay that sounds reasonable..
ugh but i just dont want 2 do the modeling.. and i guess thats why im stressin out.. acting is my passion.. NOT modeling.. gimmie acting classes ill do that.. but not modeling.. i dont want 2 b fooled into a career i dont want.. (modeling).. well i guess the journey continues.. im NOT gonna stop pursuing my dream of becoming an actor.. im meeting with the lady on Saturday.. im going to talk 2 her.. i dont mind paying for acting classes.. if they want 2 represent me for acting.. then ill do that.. if not.. then we will b back at square one.. and im kool with that..
